The program offers fellowships and funding to all admitted full-time students at the in-state rate, as well as teaching assistantships at the Writing Center and part-time teaching assistantships in the Creative Writing minor.

Other Features: 

The program hosts a visiting writers series, the Writers at Newark Reading Series, and the Chancellor’s MFA Mentors Program with local Newark high schools. Other features include concentrations in cultural, political, and ethnic studies; literature and book arts; and performance and media studies.
