Author's Bio

“... something as close to being in love as he would ever get was hitting him. . . Just watching John, a vast, powerful electrical charge hit him. It was stupendous. He was outrageously in love with him.” Carnal Sacraments, 2007. “A pioneer of gay literature” (ForeWord magazine), poet/novelist/playwright and activist Perry Brass has published 19 books including How to Survive Your Own Gay Life, The Harvest, Angel Lust, Warlock, The Substance of God, and Carnal Sacraments, A Historical Novel of the Future—“one of the most unusual novels I’ve read in years,” said Bay Area Reporter. His latest book is The Manly Pursuit of Desire and Love; latest novel King of Angels, A Novel About the Genesis of Identity and Belief, finalist for a Ferro-Grumley Award from the Ferro-Grumley Foundation.
