The 2018 North Carolina Writers’ Network (NCWN) Squire Summer Writing Workshops was held from July 19 to July 22 at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. The conference featured workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as panels, readings, and open mics. The faculty included fiction writer Elaine Neil Orr, nonfiction writer Paul Cuadros, and editor Rob Greene (Raleigh Review). The cost of the conference was $650 ($550 for NCWN members), which included tuition and shared lodging; the cost for commuters was $550 ($400 for NCWN members). A limited number of scholarships were available; writers submitted a curriculum vitae and statement of intent. Registration was first come, first served. Visit the website for more information.
