The 2017 North Carolina Writers’ Network Fall Conference was held from November 3 to November 5 at the Holiday Inn Resort in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. The conference featured workshops and master classes in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as lectures and panels on editing, publishing, marketing, and screenwriting. The faculty included poets Dan Albergotti, Peter Makuck, and Michael White; fiction writers Nina de Gramont, Jason Mott, and Michelle Young-Stone; and creative nonfiction writers Wendy Brenner, Hannah Dela Cruz Abrams, and Philip Gerard. Wiley Cash delivered the keynote. The cost of the full conference was $200 or $260 (including meals) for members, and $300 or $375 (including meals) for nonmembers until October 27, 2017.
