
The 2025 Mendocino Coast Writers’ Conference was held from July 31 to August 2 on the Mendocino Coast in California. The conference featured workshops for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers, as well as craft seminars, panels, one-on-one manuscript consultations, and open mics. The faculty included poets Linda Ravenswood and Brynn Saito; fiction writers Katya Apekina, James Bird, Tomas Moniz, Kimberly King Parsons, Allison Saft, and Rosiee Thor; and nonfiction writers Sarah Gerard and Greg Mania. Participating publishing professionals included editor Peg Alford Pursell (WTAW Press). Poet Byron F. Aspaas delivered the keynote address and led the master class. The registration fee was $875 and included morning workshops, all afternoon events, and breakfast and lunch each day. One-on-one manuscript consultations were available for an additional $60. Lodging was available at a wide range of accommodations on the Mendocino Coast, including oceanfront inns, campgrounds, glamping facilities, and motels. The registration deadline was June 30.
