The 36th annual Kentucky Book Fair, presented by Kentucky Humanities, was held on November 18 at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. The book fair, which promotes literacy and a love of reading in the commonwealth, featured panel discussions, readings, and book signings by more than 180 recently published authors. Participating authors included poet Wendell Berry; fiction writers David Arnold, Rita Mae Brown, Jamie Ford, Heather Hanson, Bobbie Ann Mason, Robert Olmstead, Hannah Pittard, and Ian Stansel; and nonfiction writers bell hooks and Chris Whipple.
