Other Features: 

This program has a professional focus on writing and publishing, incorporating internships with publications, publishers, writers, and agents. It features three new independent study courses: the Book Proposal, the Reported Memoir, and Research & Reporting, all three of which are taught by publishing professionals. Students may participate in the annual trip to New York City to meet with agents and editors.

Students must complete a two-week long residency each August and a long weekend residency each spring.

Applications for the spring 2017 residency are due by October 28. The last day to apply for scholarships is October 17. For priority consideration, submit application materials by September 19.
