The 2021 Catamaran Writing Conference was held from July 25 to July 29 at the Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, California. The conference also offered virtual enrollment for remote participants. The conference featured workshops, craft talks, and daily excursions for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. The faculty included poets Susan Browne and Joseph Millar; fiction writers Karen Joy Fowler, Lisa Fugard, Elizabeth McKenzie, and Josip Novakovich; and creative nonfiction writers Charles Hood and Dan White. The cost of the conference, which included tuition, all meals, and shared lodging, was $1,350, or $1,850 for a private room; commuter tuition, which includes all meals, was $950. Tuition for virtual participants, which included workshops, lectures, and evening readings, was $750. Registration was first come, first served. There was no application fee.
