Situated within an arts college with over a hundred years of history, CCA’s MFA program offers four semesters of one-on-one mentorship and allows ample opportunity to take courses across an array of disciplines, including film and visual art. Internships are available with Bay Area literary centers such as City Lights Publishers and 826 Valencia. The program is a long-standing sponsor of the Litquake Festival and the Bay Area Book Festival and hosts Tuesday Talks, a visiting writers series.
The priority application deadline is January 15. The application will open in August; applications received after February 1 will be reviewed individually on a rolling basis.
