The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston offers residencies of one to three months from July 1 to November 30 to midcareer poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers at the Dora Maar House in Ménerbes, France. Residents are provided with travel expenses, private lodging, work space, and a grant based upon the length of stay. Fellows are asked to donate one piece of work created during their residency to the Dora Maar House, and to take part in one community event during their residency. Using the online application system, submit two work samples of up to 20 pages each, a curriculum vitae, a project description, a proposal for a community event, and two professional references with a $20 application fee by February 15.
