The 2021 Wordplay festival was held online from May 2 to May 8. The festival featured three sessions each day: a morning session of programming for children and young adults, an afternoon session on international literature and writing in translation, and an evening session featuring conversations with poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers. Participating writers included fiction writers Yaa Gyasi, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Dean Koontz. The festival was free and open to the public, with add-ons such as facilitated discussions for select events available starting at $35. Visit the website for more information.
