The VisArts Artist Residency Program offers a residency from August 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, to a poet, fiction writer, or nonfiction writer at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. The residency includes studio space and a stipend of $5,000; writers are also paid to teach two classes at the Visual Arts Center. The residency does not include housing. Submit an application, a curriculum vitae, a personal statement, two references, and a writing sample of 10 pages of poetry or up to 25 pages of fiction or nonfiction with a $30 application fee by April 1.
