The 2022 Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word was held from October 14 to October 16 at the War Memorial Plaza and the Nashville Public Library in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Sponsored by Humanities Tennessee, the festival featured readings, panel discussions, a bookfair, author signings, and music performances for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers. Participating authors included fiction writers Julie Otsuka and Peng Shepherd; and nonfiction writers Rick Bragg, Patrick Radden Keefe, Imani Perry, and Margo Price.
