Loghaven offers residencies of two to eight weeks year-round to poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers in five rehabilitated historic log cabins and newly-built facilities on surrounding grounds in Knoxville, Tennessee. The residency is free and includes a $1,000 weekly stipend for supplies and expenses, a travel subsidy between $400 and $800, and up to $200 in reimbursement for materials shipping. For the 2021 application cycle, writers submitted 8 to 10 poems totaling up to 15 pages or two to three samples of prose totaling no more than 20 pages, two professional references, a completed application form, and a $20 application fee between June 1 and July 15.
