Let’s Just Write! Chicago Writers Association Conference

Let’s Just Write! Chicago Writers Association Conference will be held on June 20 at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. The program features a full day of presentations, pitch sessions, and a social event for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. The faculty includes poet and fiction writer Stuart Dybek; fiction writers Junot Díaz, Rebecca Makkai, and Alexis Pride; and nonfiction writer Alex Kotlowitz. Participating publishing professionals include agents Jessica Berg (Rosecliff Literary), Eloy Bleifuss Prados (Neon Literary), and Tina P. Schwartz (Purcell Agency), and publicist Julia Borcherts (Julia Publicity). The cost of the conference $185 ($160 for Chicago Writers Association members). The registration deadline is June 1.
