The 2019 Las Vegas Writers Conference was held from May 2 to May 4 at the Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference featured workshops in fiction, creative nonfiction, and publishing, as well as pitch sessions with agents. The faculty included fiction writers Andrew Buckley, Steena Holmes, Mary Robinette Kowal, Stephanie Storey, and Wendy Wimmer; nonfiction writers Oksana Marafioti and Brad Schreiber; editors Russell Busse (Abrams Books), Chloe Moffett (William Morrow), and Chuck Sambuchino (Writer’s Digest Books); and agents Mary C. Moore (Kimberley Cameron & Associates), Heather Flaherty (Bent Agency), and Ken Sherman (Ken Sherman & Associates). The cost of the conference, which included all meals and pitch sessions, was $500 until March 1 and $575 thereafter. The cost of an additional master class ranged from $75 to $95.
