The 2025 Kauai Writers Conference will be held from November 10 to November 16 at the Royal Sonesta Resort on Kalapaki Beach in Kauai, Hawai‘i. The event features a three-day conference, master classes, one-on-one agent sessions, and publishing consultations for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. Participating writers include poets Jonathon Medeiros and Tim Seibles; poet and fiction writer Rachel Eliza Griffiths; fiction writers Janelle Brown, Grant Faulkner, Patti Callahan Henry, Sadeqa Johnson, Christina Baker Kline, Jean Kwok, Ariel Lawhon, Rebecca Makkai, Paula McLain, Priya Parmar, Steven Rowley, John Searles, Curtis Sittenfeld, Danielle Trussoni, and Meg Wolitzer; fiction and creative nonfiction writers Joshua Mohr and Liz Moore; fiction writer and memoirist Jeanine Cummins; and creative nonfiction writer Laura Lentz. Participating publishing professionals include agents Amy Collins (Talcott Notch Literary Services), Samantha Fabien (Root Literary), Aram Fox (Massie McQuilkin & Altman), Susan Golomb (Writers House), Ryan D. Harbage (Fischer-Harbage Agency), Kirby Kim (Janklow & Nesbit Associates), Cecilia “CeCe” Lyra (P.S. Literary Agency), Wendy Sherman (Wendy Sherman Associates), and Sabrina Taitz (WME Books). The cost of the three-day conference, which includes lectures, performances, and small-group craft workshops, is $795; individual master classes are $795 each. One-on-one agent sessions and publishing consultations are available for $95 each, and a ticket to the beachfront luau on November 15 is $129. Meal plans, which cover breakfast and lunch each day, range from $270 to $595. Lodging is available at the conference hotel for discounted rates on a first-come, first-served basis.
