The eleventh annual Inkubator Writing Conference, sponsored by Literary Cleveland, was held from September 11 to September 13 at the Cleveland Public Library in downtown Cleveland. The conference featured workshops, craft talks, panel discussions, readings, and a book fair for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers to help “empower writers, celebrate literary excellence, and amplify diverse voices.” Participating writers included poet Nandi Comer, fiction writer Jonathan Escoffery, and nonfiction writer Maris Kreizman. A virtual event featuring nonfiction writer Eve L. Ewing was also held. Fiction writer Celeste Ng delivered the keynote address. The conference was free to attend. Accessibility accommodations included public transportation within 600 feet of the venue; elevators in all multilevel event spaces; accessible sidewalks, pathways, and doorways; accessible bathrooms; reserved seating; accessible parking; ASL interpretation for the keynote address; printed outlines for panels and talks; and signage in Braille.
