The Central Coast Writers’ Conference will be held on September 25 and September 26 at the Cuesta College San Luis Obispo, California, campus. Programming includes master classes, breakout sessions, panels, meet and greets, keynote addresses, and book signings for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. The faculty includes poet Juan Pablo Luzuriaga; poet, fiction writer, and creative nonfiction writer Diane Frank; fiction writers Debbie Black, Henry Herz, Jenna Elizabeth Johnson, Kalyn Josephson, Juliet McDaniel, Nicole Meier, Jaime Parker Stickle, Leanne Phillips, and Jordan Rosenfeld; and creative nonfiction writer Patricia Alexander. Fiction writers Jonathan Maberry and Christine Fairchild will deliver the keynote addresses on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Participating publishing professionals include agent Ian Lendler (McKinnon Literary); editor Tara Jacobi (Carolina Academic Press); freelance editor Cody Sisco; and publishers Lisa Diane Kastner (Running Wild Press) and Brian Schwartz (SelfPublish.org). The cost of the conference is $275 before July 9, $325 from July 10 to September 24, and $375 for walk-in registration. Optional master classes are available for an additional $150.
