The tenth annual Broadleaf Writers Conference will be held on September 20 and September 21 at the Decatur Library in Decatur, Georgia. The conference features panels, first page critiques, and workshops for fiction writers and nonfiction writers, as well as individual pitch and mentoring sessions with agents and publishing professionals. The faculty includes fiction writers Kimberly Brock, Clay McLeod Chapman, Patti Callahan Henry, and Piper G. Huguley; fiction and nonfiction writer Jeffrey Dale Lofton; and nonfiction writers Katherine Howe and Kris Spisak. Participating publishing professionals include literary agents Kimberly Latrice Jones (LCS Literary Services), Alina Mitchell (MacGregor & Luedeke Collaborative), and Kristen Terrette (Martin Literary Management). The cost of the conference is $200, which includes a consultation with an agent or publishing professional. Additional consultations are available for $25. Single-day passes are also available for $150. The cost to attend the conference virtually is $150; the rate for students, including a pitch session, is $100.
