The 7th annual Broadleaf Writers Conference will be held from October 8 to October 9 at the Perimeter Doubletree Hotel in Dunwoody, Georgia. The conference features panels and workshops for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers, as well as individual pitch and mentoring sessions with agents and publishing professionals. The faculty includes fiction writers Daniel Black, Kimberly Brock, Denny Bryce, Peter Ferris, Robert Gwaltney, and Shaun Hamill, and nonfiction writer Ann Hite. Participating publishing professionals include agents Elizabeth Copps (Copps Literary Services), Leah Pierre (Ladderbird Literary Agency), and Charlotte Wenger (Prospect Agency). The cost of the conference is $225 ($200 for Broadleaf Writers members), which includes a consultation with an agent or publishing professional. Additional consultations are available for $25. Single-day passes are also available for $150. The cost to attend the conference virtually is $175 ($150 for Broadleaf members). Registration is rolling through October 8.
