Tips From the Editor:

We value women, diversity, LGBTQ, and damn good writing. We are off-beat and lean left. Yes, it matters to us that you value those things too. No torture porn, regular porn, bigoted/racist, or religious texts. We have to love it to publish it, as subjective as that might be, but once we choose you, we work incredibly hard for you. Reading fee of $10 for print anthologies only. Those who are published receive a free copy and a check for $25. Poetry chapbooks published through the collective, or via contests, for free. Some works published via partner publishing, and we also aid writers in self-publishing independently of our imprint, and we suppor them the same as all others we work with.

Titles per Year:
6 to 10
Editorial Focus:

Devil’s Party Press is an imprint of Current Words Publishing, as are the following imprints: Instant Noodles, an online literary magazine, Hawkshaw, for mystery, Gravelight, for horror,  and Old Scratch, for poetry chapbooks. Submissions exclusively through Duotrope. They are members of IBPA, CLMP, NFPW, EFA, REEDSY, and ACES. The editors publish some full-length works as indie publishers, and some full-length works as partner publishers. They are very interested in getting well-written work out there.
