Founded and edited by a diverse, award-winning team of female poets, SWWIM Every Day publishes poems every weekday by cis/trans women, nonbinary, intersex, and other gender-expansive writers of all ages, races, ethnicities, cultures, orientations, and experiences. SWWIM poems have been included in Best American Poetry, Best of the Net, Best Spiritual Literature, Poets.org, Poetry Daily, The Slowdown, Substack Reads, and more.

We welcome free verse, prose poems, formal/received forms, invented forms, visual poems, and experimental work. We especially seek work from historically marginalized communities and like to see poetry that has been overlooked or excluded because of subject matter bias. SWWIM stands for Supporting Women Writers in Miami, where we offer residencies and run a reading series, but we publish writers from all over the world. We nominate for all eligible awards.
