Ink & Ember is a quarterly, independent, interactive literary magazine. Created by published poet and content creator Cecilia Parker (@thejournalingrat, amongst other monikers), this magazine seeks to uplift and provide a space both for marginalized authors, poets, and artists, but also for its readers. Unlike most literary magazines, this magazine is interactive and seeks the engagement of its audience.

We accept submissions of art, photography, poetry, and short prose (maximum 1,000 words) of fiction, nonfiction, or autobiography.

Due to submission caps and artistic curation of the magazine, not all submissions will be accepted. This does not mean that we do not encourage artists and authors not to try to submit again at a later date.

Those wishing to submit must read and comply with all submission rules as outlined on the website.
