In this event, authors Hiromi Kawakami and Adam Ehrlich Sachs discuss writing about specific places, fiction’s relationship to personal truth, and their literary inspirations in a conversation with Motoyuki Shibata, translator and founder of the Japanese journal MONKEY New Writing From Japan.
