Author's Bio

Grace Bauer's books of poems include Retreats & Recognitions (Lost Horse Press), Beholding Eye (Custom Words), and The Women At The Well (Portals Press), as well as three chapbooks. She is also co-editor of Umpteen Ways Of Looking At A Possum: Critical And Creative Responses To Everette Maddox. In addition to poetry, she has published short stories and essays in Brilliant Corners, Colorado Review, Chariton Review, Flint Hills Review, Santa Monica Review, and others. She teaches in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she has recently guest edited a special issue of Prairie Schooner.
