Caitlin Doyle

Author's Bio

Caitlin Doyle is a poet, educator, and Long Island native with experience teaching Creative Writing to both undergraduates and high school students. She has been awarded residency fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the Ucross foundation, the Jentel Foundation, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Edward F. Albee Foundation, and others. She attended UNC Chapel Hill as the Thomas Wolfe Scholar in Creative Writing and earned her MFA from Boston University, where she was the George Starbuck Fellow in Poetry. She has taught poetry as the Writer-In-Residence at St. Albans School in Washington, DC, has served as the Jack Kerouac Writer-In-Residence at the Kerouac House in Orlando, FL, has taught as a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Boston University, and has taught poetry and screenwriting as the Emerging Writer-In-Residence at Penn State University. She has also worked as a copy writer for a media marketing company. Most recently, Caitlin has held a residency fellowship as the Writer-In-Residence at the James Merrill House in Stonington, CT, and has taught as the Writer-In-Residence at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan.
