Editorial Focus

Green Writers Press is a predominantly an environmentally focused publisher of novels, poetry, memoir, essays, and some science writing. Their list is nature-based and environmental, and their practice is sustainable publishing and printing our books using vegetable inks, FSC-certified papers, and printers in the United States: Bookmobile, McNaughton & Gunn, etc.

Tips From the Editor

They mostly publish novels that impart environmental-social justice themes. Poems that focus on nature and the urgency with which we need to save our planet, are appreciated. They are also interested in short stories—again, a collection with an environmentally-themed thread that runs throughout. Their nonfiction list is broader and includes memoirs, science-based writing, education, and spirituality.
