Bio: 

June Sylvester Saraceno is the author of three poetry collections, The Girl From Yesterday (forthcoming in 2020 from Cherry Grove Press), of Dirt and Tar (Cherry Grove Press), and Altars of Ordinary Light (Plain View Press), as well as a chapbook of prose poems, Mean Girl Trips (Pudding House Publications).

Her debut novel, Feral, North Carolina, 1965 was published in fall 2019 by Southern Fried Karma Press.

She is Humanities and English Department Chair at Sierra Nevada College, Tahoe, where she teaches in the undergraduate and low-residency MFA in creative writing programs. She directs the literary speaker series Writers in the Woods, and is founding editor of the literary journal, the Sierra Nevada Review.
