Bio: 

Scott C. Holstad has authored, edited and contributed to 65+ books and has appeared in over 20 languages. His work has appeared in the Minnesota Review, Exquisite Corpse, Caffeine, Wisconsin Review, Pacific Review, Sports Illustrated, the TODAY Show, Poet’s Market, Long Shot, Wormwood Review, Chiron Review, Atom Mind, Sports Illustrated, Pearl, Processed World, Lullwater Review, Southern Review, Haight-Ashbury Literary Journal, Asheville Poetry Review and Poetry Ireland Review. He holds degrees and is an alumnus of the University of Tennessee, Cal State University Long Beach, UCLA, Queens University of Charlotte and the University of Michigan. He has traveled and moved around North America some 35 times and has lived in areas that vary as widely as over -50 degrees below Fahrenheit to mountains, the desert, the perfect temperate climate of Southern California, an island by a quiet beach and now the Gettysburg area, among others. He loves reading and writing, hated teaching, has enjoyed doing and experiencing many things and though "retired," spends time as a member of The Royal United Services Institute for Defence & Security Studies (RUSI), Arendt Scholar with The Hannah Arendt Center for Politics & Humanities, 30-year member of the Authors Guild & Researcher with the American Academy of Neurology (AAN).
