The Delmarva Review publishes literary short fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry annually in print and electronic editions. Both are available worldwide via online major booksellers. We welcome new literary work in English from all writers. Our standards are for memorable, compelling prose and poetry exhibiting skillful expression. Work should connect with readers on more than one level.

All submissions are electronic, through the guidelines page of the website. Editors review work on a rolling basis, so early submissions are encouraged. All writers will hear from the editor no later than May, for publication in October. Submitted material must be unpublished. Our preference is literary writing, and we discourage most genre-specific work unless it evolves into the art of literary writing.
