The program offers a multidisciplinary MFA which students can pursue by combining writing coursework with classes in book arts, environmental humanities, and the history of the American West. The program hosts the Guest Writer Series [5], the Utah Symposium in Science and Literature, and the Working Dog [6] graduate student reading series. Other features include internships and paid editorial positions at the press Fiction Collective Two, the student-run literary journals Quarterly West and Western Humanities Review, and the online archives Eclipse and Mapping Salt Lake City.
