A prize of $1,000 and publication in Chautauqua is given annually for a poem or group of poems, a short story, or an essay on a theme. This year’s contest is open to poets, and the theme is “Journeys and Pilgrimages.” Philip Terman will judge. Using the online submission system, submit up to three poems with a $20 entry fee by November 1. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
