First Book Award
A prize of $1,000 and publication by Kore Press is given annually for a poetry collection. Female-identified poets who have not published a book-length poetry collection or a chapbook with a print run over 400 copies are eligible. Joy Harjo will judge. Using the online submission system, submit a manuscript of 48 to 80 pages with a $25 entry fee by August 31. Call, e-mail, or visit the website for complete guidelines.
