A prize of $10,000 Canadian (approximately $7,405) will be awarded for a debut poetry collection by a living Canadian poet or permanent resident. Publishers may submit four copies of a book published between January 1 and June 30 by June 21. The deadline for books published during the second half of the year is December 20.
