Author's Bio

Terry Lucas is a prize-winning poet, essayist, editor and writing consultant. His work has been published in numerous national literary journals, including Alaska Quarterly Review, Best New Poets, Columbia Poetry Review, Great River Review, and Green Mountains Review. His poems have received six Pushcart Prize nominations, and he was the winner of the 2014 Crab Orchard Review Special Issue Feature Award in Poetry. His two full-length collections are Dharma Rain (Saint Julian Press, 2016) and In This Room (CW Books, 2016). His most recent chapbook, If They Have Ears to Hear, won the 2012 Copperdome Award from Southeast Missouri State University Press. The former Co-Executive Editor of Trio House Press, he now serves on their advisory board, and is a regular speaker, panelist, and reader in the Dominican University of California's MFA Program.
