Author's Bio

Jack Henry, writer/poet, lives in Corona, California. In November 2009 NeoPoeisis Press released, with the Patience of Monuments, Jack's first full-length collection of poetry. Early in 2009, Kendra Steiner Edition's released, Empty Houses, a short themed collection of poetry. Also, in June of 2009 Jack became the first graduate from the Low Residency Program at the University of California, Riverside. In 2010 Epic Rites Press will release a themed chapbook, "crunked." Additionally, Jack Henry has a couple other chapbooks on small international micro presses. "The Downtown Cafe," available from Erbacce-Press in England. Currently Jack is working on getting a teaching job as well as finalizing his first novel, "Red Lincoln," a tale of drugs, sex, strip clubs, dope dealers, the Mexican Mafia, Hell's Angels, the priesthood and surviving in a small desert town. The narrative is written in alternating forms, from poetry, to playwriting, to screenplay, to standard narrative and back again. It is set for publication in 2011 on Epic Rites Press.
