Author's Bio

I am an American expatriate living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where I am the Associate Editor for the KL American magazine and a blogger for Fringe Magazine. My critical writing appears in Feminist Media Studies, Interdisciplinary Humanities, and Theory Into Practice: An Introduction to Literary Criticism, and several encyclopedias from Greenwood Press. I served as Poet-in-Residence at the Pinellas County Girl’s Correctional Facility 2002-3 and have a Ph. D. in English with creative dissertation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
