Carol Smallwood's Women on Poetry: Tips on Writing, Revising, Publishing and Teaching is on Poets & Writers Magazine List of Best Books for Writers. Some of her over five dozen edited nonfiction books were published by American Library Association, Rowman & Littlefield, McFarland, and others. Carol wrote for the Detroit News and appears in: Who's Who in America; Who's Who in the World; Contemporary Authors New Revision (CANR) 282; Contemporary Authors Online Biography in Context; The Michigan Poet Collected Poems 2010-2015; Wikipedia. The multiple Pushcart nominee, a literary judge, reader, and columnist, has written dozens of reviews and interviews for such places as New Pages, World Literature Today, Rain Taxi Review of Books and appears in How to Write Classical Poetry, The Society of Classical Poets.
