Author's Bio

Heather Ann Schmidt teaches writing in Ohio and holds an MFA and an MA from National University. Currently, she is working on a PhD at Northcentral University. Her published collections include: Channeling Isadora Duncan (Gold Wake Press); The Bat’s Lovesong, Red Hibiscus and Transient Angels (Crisis Chronicles Press); On Recalling Life Through the Eye of the Needle (Village Green Press); Matryoshkas and Issa’s Spider (Victorian Violet Press) ; Batik (Nightballet Press) and Chagall’s Cat (Pohemian Press). Her most recent collection is A Thousand Flowers released by Black Madonna Press in 2016. She currently resides in the Cleveland, Ohio area where she is active in the art, music and poetry community.
