Nick McRae is the author of The Name Museum (C&R Press, 2013), for which he received the De Novo Poetry Prize, and of two chapbooks: Mountain Redemption (Black Lawrence Press, 2013) and Moravia (Folded Word Press, 2013). His poems, reviews, and translations have appeared or will soon appear in Birmingham Poetry Review, Hayden's Ferry Review, Linebreak, Measure, The Southern Review, and other journals and anthologies. His has been the recipient of a Fulbright fellowship, a University Fellowship in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University, and the Tennessee Williams Scholarship from the Sewanee Writers' Conference. Nick serves as associate editor for 32 Poems, assistant editor for Sundress Publications, poetry review editor for The Journal, and is currently compiling and editing a manuscript entitled Gathered: The Anthology of Contemporary Quaker Poetry. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and raised in the Northwest Georgia foothills, he lives in Columbus, Ohio.
