Anca L. Szilágyi's fiction appears in Moss, Fairy Tale Review, Gastronomica, The Massachusetts Review, Washington City Paper, and elsewhere. Her nonfiction appears in Los Angeles Review of Books, Electric Literature, The Rumpus, Kirkus, and Jewish in Seattle, among other publications. Born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn, she holds degrees from McGill University, Columbia University, and the University of Washington. Currently, she lives in Seattle, where she teaches creative writing at Richard Hugo House and online at Southern New Hampshire University's MA program in English and Creative Writing. DAUGHTERS OF THE AIR, her debut novel, released from Lanternfish Press December 2017. The Seattle Review of Books called it "a fantastic debut...a product of alchemy, a creation of unearthly talents."
