Author of "Death is Not an Option" (WW Norton, 2010), a finalist for the New York Public Library Young Lions Prize, the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award, the PEN/Hemingway Award, and the Story Prize. My short fiction has received 2 Pushcart Prizes and inclusion in Best American Short Stories 2013.
