Author's Bio

Donora A. Rihn is the author of The Day of Small Things (with Andrew Rihn; Really Serious Literature, 2018), The Marriage of Heaven and Hell: An Election Cycle (with Andrew Rihn; Moria Books/Locofo Chaps, 2017), Jeff Bridges (with illustrations by Goodloe Byron; Cobalt Press, 2016), The Aphasia Poems (S▲L, 2014), and several other books and chapbooks of poetry and theory, as well as the one-act play The Plagiarist (NEA, 2015). Her current work-in-progress is entitled Annihilation Rhetoric. Rihn’s work frequently appears in Hint Fiction (W.W. Norton & Company), Hobart, Monkeybicycle, OCCULUM, Pedagogy, Women in Clothes (Penguin Random House), and other anthologies and journals, and she often performs across the United States. She is a senior lecturer in the English department at The University of Akron and lives in a tiny house in the Portage Lakes area of Northeast Ohio with her husband and collaborator, the writer and scholar Andrew Rihn, and their two rescue dogs.
