Author's Bio

Neil Aitken is the author of two full-length collections of poetry: The Lost Country of Sight (Anhinga, 2008), which won the Philip Levine Prize, and Babbage's Dream (Sundress, 2017). His poetry chapbook, Leviathan (Hyacinth Girl Press, 2016), was awarded the Elgin Prize for sci-fi poetry chapbook. He is the founding editor of Boxcar Poetry Review, the curator of Have Book Will Travel, and the co-director of De-Canon: A Visibility Project. He also hosts The Lit Fantastic podcast and radio show. He currently lives in Vancouver, WA, where he works as a freelance creative writing coach and instructor.
