After I graduated from the Iowa Writer's Workshop, I taught English part-time while working full-time as an editor, maketing manager and/or sales manager at these university presses: Chicago, Oregon, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.

South Carolina Poetry Archives Prize of 2013 and publication of book, The Evening Light by the Ninety-Six Press (Furman University) Ingram Merrill Grant of $5000 (1971) and a South Carolina Poetry Fellowship of $5000(2003).
