This program features the annual MCW literary reading series. It is home to the Ransom Center, which houses a Gutenberg Bible and the manuscripts of writers such as T.S. Eliot, James Joyce, Tom Stoppard, Jack Kerouac, and Ernest Hemingway.

Students work in at least two genres with one being the primary focus. Community outreach programs are available in teaching/workshops, and editorial internships are available with Bat City Review.  Professional Development Funds are available for travel to attend writing conferences and residencies or for summer support.
