University of Rochester Acquires Archive of BOA Editions, Ltd.

The Special Collections Library at the University of Rochester recently acquired the archive of BOA Editions, Ltd., a nonprofit press that was founded in 1976 and has published more than 170 books of poetry.

The archive consists of material dated from 1996 to 2005, including manuscripts, author correspondence, galleys, original cover art, and photographs from books by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Carolyn Kizer and National Book Award winner Lucille Clifton as well as poets Li-Young Lee, Brigit Pegeen Kelly, William Heyen, and Naomi Shihab Nye.
