Funding/Employment Opportunities: 

All students receive a full tuition waiver, a stipend of $12,500, and a one hundred percent health insurance subsidy. All students receive a fellowship featuring responsibilities in teaching, editorial work for Action Books or the Notre Dame Review, or other on and off-campus outreach and service projects.

Other Features: 

This program features the Visiting Writers program. Students give readings at local high schools and facilitate workshops for homeless centers and juvenline correctional facilities. Sandeen and Sullivan prizes are available, as well as opportunities for students to teach creative writing and publishing practicums.
