Funding/Employment Opportunities: 

Graduate students will serve as Teaching Assistants for the department’s introduction to literary arts courses in their first year of the program. This will provide a salary of at least $35,360 for the academic year, plus waive almost all the tuition and fees. Students are expected to apply to Teaching Assistant positions in the campus’ College Writing Programs in the second and third year. There are also competitive summer research assistantships and summer teaching opportunities. Upon admission, each student will be provided a letter outlining their financial support package.
