Suzanne Marie Hopcroft is a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at Yale University and a writer of poetry and fiction. Her first article will appear in Comparative Literature in the fall of 2013; her poetry has been featured or is forthcoming in Hayden’s Ferry Review, Harpur Palate, Drunken Boat, The Normal School, The Carolina Quarterly, Valparaiso Poetry Review, Whiskey Island, South Dakota Review, and others; and her fiction has appeared in journals such as Gargoyle Magazine and elimae.
